This is Cassini, the first duck I rescued. If you look close at the top portion of her bill, you will see that half of it is missing. She was adandoned at a park to fend for herself; and never learning to fear people or animals, she fell prey to a dog. She survived but could not be returned to the park because she needed to be hand fed.
