Petunia's first day at Lame Duck Rescue.

After spending over $3000 and 18 months of TLC, Petunia's rescuers felt that it was time for her to be given the opportunity to live a duck's life again. After all that they had already done for her, their work was not done. They located Lame Duck Rescue's WEB page and contacted me about my sanctuary. After the exchange of many e-mails, they made a 10 hour drive to bring her here. I know that day on a lonely road some where in Florida, Petunia had met her Guardian Angels. In the following photos you will see her progression and assimilation into the flock.
